Baby shower drama

Well- my mother is notorious for waiting until last minute & ive been on top of her to book a place since thanksgiving. Now the only thing available is April 3rd and I'm panicking that is going to be too close. Not only that, it bothers me my mom doesn't seem very excited to plan this shower & she barely asks me how things are going. Her solution is anything left on my registry she will take me the next day and buy it- money is nothing to my parents as they're very well off. Which may make me sound like a brat that I'm complaining about that but honestly it would've meant more to me for her to be more excited as her writing a check is nothing to her. Today was the first day I broke down & cried & my emotions get the best of me.
