Where's a good place to visit?

I'd like to go to the US for a weeks holiday (vacation). Where should I go? Why? And what's there to do there?

Yellowstone National Park is fantastic. We go every two years.

New York City or Washington DC. D.C. is the nation's capital and has a ton of awesome museums. And well nothing screams America quite like New York City. (Of course I'm biased since I grew up in NYC)

The mountains here in California are beautiful. Also u could make a stop to some of the nicer beaches down in San Diego where it's warmer. Hawaii is a great place to visit. I've also heard good things about Florida

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking for something busy or relaxing? Nature or man made? Any particular hobbies you want to partake in? That will narrow it down. There are a lot of beautiful and unique opportunities around the country.

It's a long way to go for a week! Unless you're in Canada or southern or central america I guess

If you are looking to go to theme parks I would suggest Orlando. My husband and I live about an hour and a half from Orlando and will go over there at least every four months for a weekend getaway. We love it. Other than that Florida sucks, lol.
