Stopping the contractions!

Went to the hospital January 16 (33w5d) with contractions that were 10-15 minutes apart. They hooked me up the the contraction monitor and they got closer together, 4 minutes apart but no dilation, thankfully! They decided to give me a shot of terbutaline to see if that spaced the contractions out a bit and it didn't so they gave me another dose of it still didn't have much luck! You can only get 3 of these shots so they decided to give me that last one. Contractions were spacing out a little bit but they were still 6 minutes apart. Now the Doctor decided it was time for steroid shots to help make the babies lungs mature faster and they admitted me to labor and delivery overnight. My contractions were still pretty close so they gave me nifedipine capsules every 4 hours and finally the contractions started to space out and become irregular. Finally I was able to go home January 17th but I still have to take the nifedipine capsules every 4 hours. I'm now on bed rest and I feel like a ticking time bomb but my girls are hanging in there! Not too much longer now but I will be very happy if we make it to 37 weeks!
