Getting Off the Pill!

My husband and I have decided to switch to natural family planning methods. So when I finish this pack of my birth control pills, I won't be getting a refill. We are open to having a baby if it happens but we aren't ready to put a lot of effort into trying (increasing sex, lots of sex during fertile window, ovulation tests, pre-seed, etc). I just want my body to regulate. And my doctor said it would be best to come off the medicine a few months before we want to put effort into trying.

My question. What side effects, if any, did you experience from stopping the pill? I know I may not ovulate right away but what else? Mood swings? Sex drive issues? Worse/Better cramps?
