Are you bringing clothes for baby to wear in the hospital?

Does the hospital supply onesies for them to wear? Or should I be packing something for everyday, not just going home?

They provide receiving blankets and those tiny little tshirts. I, personally, prefer to have my child dressed in what I want them in so I brought several outfits for my son, and I just packed my daughters bag with several outfits. Personal choice is all it is.

Hospital supplies onesies and reviving blankets.  The baby basically just wears a top and is swaddled the whole time at the hospital.  I just take a coming home outfit.

The hospital dresses them in something that's easy to take off and on. I personally feel like they've just been through something major too. No need to stuff them into something just because it's cuter than what they give you. I know I want to be comfy and so do they. I only took a going home outfit and will do the same this time.

I was debating between just using the hospital little shirts or bringing my own clothes for baby..but the nurses and doctors will be in and out checking the baby so I'm just using the hospital ones so it's easier for them to do what they have to do :)

I will have my daughter in just a diaper, swaddled when not being held and do skin to skin as much as possible with myself and my husband.  Skin to skin is very good for mama and baby!  We did that when my son was born as well.  Just need the going home outfit.

I am only bringing a going home outfit for baby. My hospital says they prefer the baby to just wear a diaper & be swaddled in a blanket while they're still in the hospital. They'll also provide a hat. They don't advise me dressing her until we are getting discharged.

Most hospitals provide a little shirt and blankets to swaddle in. I brought my daughter sleepers and am doing the same thing this time. I can never get them swaddled as well as the nurses and it always falls off and I want them to stay warm. You should be okay with whatever you decide.

Some hospitals do a little newborn photo session , so I would bring something cute for that too

The hospital I am delivering at won't let me dress the baby in his own clothes until we leave. They want him to be dressed in what they provide.

My son was an emergancy c section and we didn't have his back packed and in the car and they had donated outfits that my son used at the hospital. Hospitals will say they don't provide but you really just need a take home outfit. I will be packing clothes just because though
