Shelby
I had to be at the hospital at 6:00 am. They got me on the monitors. My nurse came in at 7:30 & put my iv & got me started on patosin at 8:00 am. My dr broke my water at 8:30 am. I progressed quickly to 8 cm (between 12:00 & 1:00) . About 3 pm I finally made it to 9 cm. I finally started pushing at 6:20 pm. After a rough labor & lots of pushing my doctor had to use the vacuum to get him out.Not going to lie I was in tears for part of it. My epidural wasn't at full affect. Not to mention he wasn't facing the right way & one of his shoulders was stuck so she had to turn him to get him out all of the way. Instead of his back to my belly his back was to my back. He was finally born at 8:59 pm weighing 7 lbs 9 oz & 20 in long.
