How long can I wait after D&C?

Hey
Currently in hospital about to have a D&C after a missed misscariage. How long did you all wait till you started trying again and how long till you got a positive ovulation test?

I was told to wait at least three months. Didn't use ovulation tests but fell pregnant again within two cycles of trying.
