My period had returned 4 months postpartum despite the fact that I am breastfeeding in demand round the clock! I'm torn on what to do in terms of birth control. Would some of you please share your experiences whether it be on the mini pill, IUD, etc?? I definitely do NOT want to get pregnant so soon after giving birth. Those of you on the pill... Do you still use condoms? I know it's safer to use condoms PLUS birth control but I would hate to do that :( I heard that the mini pill isn't too effective at preventing pregnancies (especially since my periods have already returned?). Feeling a bit overwhelmed by my options here. I have a prescription for the mini pill waiting for me but I don't know if I want to take that or have an IUD inserted instead.
