Persephone is the wife of the god of the underworld. Also, the very famous art piece "The Rape of Persephone" was the first thing I thought of. It's a cool name, but keep the namesake in mind.

I LOVE that name. I've always loved the two names separately (they were both on my list of name possibilities before I found out little one is a boy) but I never thought to put the two together. Absolutely beautiful 💕

My nephew and his wife want to name their baby this If it's a girl. I love the name Cadence (I'm a band nerd), but Persephone is a bit much for my liking. (This was my post).

Honestly and please don't take offence, but the second part of the name reminds me of like a chemical element or poisonous gas...maybe consider something else beginning with a P?
