Abnormal PAP smear while preggo?

So my doctor just called me, CALLED, which freaked me out to begin with. She told me the results of my Pap smear came back with abnormal cells.  She said it doesn't LOOK like cancer, whatever the hell that means, and she wants to do a biopsy. How worried should I be about my little peanut? Or about myself??? I'm 11 weeks pregnant and losing my shit right about now...

My friend had an abnormal papsmear- she wasn't prego though. They  just took a small biopsy of the cervix and everything came back normal :) hang in there!

Pap smears are notorious for coming back abnormal and then having nothing wrong. That's why they recently changed the guidelines on when you should get them

I had one come back abnormal.  My doctor assured me it would not impact my baby or I.  I ended up having a colposcopy to check the cells but they would not do a biopsy while I was pregnant.  They said the cells were abnormal but nothing to worry about at this point.  It is possible that the abnormal cells will wash away after I have the baby. 
I have a recheck after my son arrives in July.

I had the lowest grade abnormal cells which are pre cancerous, since I was pregnant they said they couldn't do any further testing or treatment n to come back after baby was born and when I did they had completely gone,it's very very common

I've had one come back abnormal and then did another one and came back normal. It could be the slightest infection or anything to make it do that. Literally so many things can make it abnormal but it's really common. Don't stress yourself out too much, it's not good for you or the baby! But doctors typically always call with that stuff instead of waiting for another appointment! Hope everything comes back good for you😃

I get a pap at my 11 week appointment, and that's what's worrying me. Not trying to stress, and just hoping everything turns up normal!
