If you received drugs for pain or ANY synthetic hormone to help along with labor but still had your child from Yoni. Sorry hunny your delivery was not natural.

If you plan to have a natural birth it's best to decline any artificial hormone they offer "to help with labor". It's not helping it's making the pain worse and stresses the baby out. And often results to you asking for drugs to kill the pain or most times c-section.

It's not always a choice. And my labor was "natural" but it wasn't drug free. Natural also refers to vaginal delivery  and a lot of medical professionals use those terms interchangeably. Not every intervention results in C-section, although they're more common with some procedures. C-section rates also depend on your hospital and their policies. I was induced because of a medical need and "allowed" to labor for 36 hours. The discussion of c-section never even came up. I know a lot of hospitals wont let you labor past a certain time frame because of policies.

Next time you give birth try laboring for 36 hours of intense contractions from the first hour and see if you can be "all natural." I'm not ashamed of asking for pain relief even though I really wanted to go natural and was stubborn and set on the idea. I couldn't go that long without sleep or a break. I'm not a glutton for punishment either. If you can do it, great. If you can't, great. You just gave birth!

Just came across post and I m lost. So because I was given potocion my birth wasn't natrual?? Lol I didn't take an epidural or Any pain reliever not that I knock anyone who does. How ever my birth was still natural. I felt everything. I pushed not one once of relief came from anything but pushing.  I think natural birth in most women mind is diffrent refers to vaginal birth.  I love way choose birth even though I didn't know about nor ask for potocion. I'm simply saying no way any one can tell me my birth wasn't natrual. Same goes for a lot women we all are diffrent and what's natrual in your eyes may be different in someone else's .I'm not saying this to start up anything either m

It was not my intention to offend you all, however I was just sharing information I guess I forgot to wrap it in a pretty bow. I just want to promote  the truth about child birth.... and I will continue to do so even if it hurts some emotional hearts. But I am love and love is all! I really don't mean no harm.
