HELP!! To all the ladies who get a year mat leave!

I am stressing out so much with when to take my mat leave! Im a FTM and My due date is may 20th 2016. And my work requires 2 months notice so they have enough time to find a temp for my position. And if my husband had his way I would work right until I give birth, which I can understand to a point I want to be able to have my baby's birthday and to get as much money as possible. But I also don't think he truly understands how tough it is to grow a human I mean how could he ? Men don't have to go through this, and by all means I'm not bashing my husband I know he means well.

I guess my real question I'm trying to get at is when did you ladies take your mat leave?? I was thinking April 30th or may 10th? What are your thoughts and or advice??
