Pediatrician?!

I will be induced next week. Will I have to call and set up an appointment with a pediatrician or will the hospital take care of all that?!

We had to do it with our first. Maybe because there are so many pediatrician sin our area though, who knows.

Think it depends on the hospital, although my doctor has been advising me for awhile to search for a pediatrician as soon as possible.

My midwife had advised me to schedule an appointment with a pediatrician of my choice at 7 months. I had a friend who was not allowed to leave the hospital with her baby until she had a follow appointment with a pediatrician set.

I've already chosen mine and I'll contact the office after they're born to make their initial appt
