I had a c-section last Friday and we've had issue after issue trying to get my little guy to nurse. On Monday, I started pumping in order to make sure I could get something for him since he was starting to lose so much weight. At our appt this morning, the doctor assured us his weight is headed back in the right direction but since we are still having issues getting him to latch and then actually suckle after he has latched, I've had to continue to pump. Has anyone had it take so long for milk to come in after a c-section? I'm so worried it won't ever come in and I really want to be able to feed my LO breast milk. It seems like nothing has gone right and I'm concerned this is one more thing in that direction... 😥
