Belly button at 1 month? My son is one month old today and his belly button worries me it fell off after 2 weeks and looks so pointy anyone have this happen to their LO?

My friends little boy had something similar and it ended up being a hernia. I would call your pediatrician. From what I remember it just goes away on its own and it wasn't harmful. But just give them a call.

Its a umbilical hernia sweetie! My son had it and his doctor said as long as it doesnt get to be the size of a tennis ball its ok and it will go away it time. My sons went away at about 3 or 4 months.

That looks 100% like an umbilical hernia. Resolves on its own after a year or two. If you google it there is a lot of information and I would bring it up at your 2 month well baby visit

Put a small band around his belly to help it from popping out more... Also when he sneezes try to place your hand on his belly for the same reason. Hope it helps!
