HSG Test ( Tubal blockage test)

My husband and I have been ttc for the past 9 months. I had my yearly check up with my ob/gyn on the 4th of January. My doctor told me in September if I wasn't pregnant by January she was going to refer me to a specialist. I have a 6 year old daughter but my husband doesn't have any children and he is really anxious to have a sweet baby.

We had our specialist tell us based on statistics and other facts we should be pregnant by now. So he has order a HSG test for me and a sperm

Analysis for my husband.

I'm looking for anyone that has experienced these tests and can give us feed back so we know what to expect.
