So my mother and I went to a "special store" today and she bought me my first vibrator (my mom and I are really close and open about sex and what not, this wasn't a huge surprise) but I'm a little concerned.. Will using the vibrator make it harder for me to finish when I don't use the vibrator? Like going solo with fingers, my boyfriend giving oral, etc. It worries me because I don't want it to be the only way I can get off. Help?

Honestly, a vibrator is very different from the real deal(in my opinion), but this can be a really really good thing. A vibrator allows you to get to know yourself and know what works and what doesn't, but (again, my opinion) nothing compares to the real deal. Especially if the guy knows what he's doing. I have read that the strength of the vibration can desensitize down there a small amount but only temporarily (like the rest of the night kinda thing) so if you use is everyday it may take a little more during sex but just using it occasionally (3x a week) prob won't do much --- also using it during sex is bomb ✨

Can’t say for everyone but I really have this issue. I can’t find fingering pleasing or even finish from oral. I can only finish from a specific vibrator. All my others are too weak. It’s to the point that foreplay with my husband is unappealing and sex of any kind has never made me orgasm. I’m seriously contemplating asking my husband to hide my vibrator because it’s impact on my body is, in turn, impacting my sex life. I started using vibrators as a teenager before I learned how to orgasm from fingering so I think I’m going to have to teach my body to enjoy the normal shit (fingering, sex, oral, etc) which I’m not looking forward to because vibrators are amazing 😭

Some women find it to get a little harder. We grow accustomed to stimulus we experience regularily. I find it's harder for me to get off now than when I was younger (even though I obviously know myself better now) because it was newer then. Same goes for vibrators. It's harder without them now but I can still do it any way I want. However after I've gotten off with a vibe nothing else will work except the real thing. Everyone is sooo different though so you'll have to find out for yourself. That's awesome your mom and you are so close.
