Clear blue digital tests

I need some advice ladies. Been ttc for five months now. Never had any problems with my periods and since been ttc have been tracking periods and come on day 31 without fail. This month though is different I am now six days late. I bought a clear blue digital test and tested first thing this morning and got a not pregnant. Is it to early? Or should I try f response instead? Feel so disheartened. Xx
