Mucous in stool--normal?

Hi everyone,

Sorry this is gross but I'm 23 weeks pregnant and the last couple of times I've pooped, I noticed whitish mucous on it... It was a little last time and kind of a lot this time. Has anyone experienced this? Constipation has been an issue for me this pregnancy, so I'm hoping that's it. Thanks :)

I had this issue in my first trimester when I was very constipated. From the research I did, it's totally normal and not necessarily pregnancy related, it's from the constipation. If you're concerned, mention it to your ob; I'm pretty sure that it's normal, though.
