Frozen breastmilk and power outage??

What to do with all the frozen milk if the power goes out??

Answer

Have a large cooler on hand...stock up on bags of ice (@ least 4 bags) put in deep freezer...also purchase some dry ice. Once power goes out keep the frozen milk in the deep freezer. If you don't have one, once you notice the milk starting to unthaw from your regular fridge refrigerator, transfer it to the cooler packed with ice then add the dry ice on top.

If power is out cause of snow you can put it in something then keep it in the snow

If u don't open the freezer when the power goes out the freezer will stay cold if it's fixed quickly or u have a back up source for power like a generator
