Second ectopic pg this time no surgery

I had an ectopic pg in june 2014, immediate pain followed by rupture and surgery lost my left fallopian tube. Without trying conceived this month again, no sac was seen at 5 weeks but my hcg were so high they shouldve seen something. They assumed a small spot on ovary was the pregnancy, so I was just given mtx shot, my hcg levels are still high and just waiting to see what happens now might need another shot...super sad..was glad I still have one tube left with ovary but I dont think I can go through anymore ectopic pregnancies ever again.....
