Opinions on early scans?

I found a place that does scans from 8 weeks, I had a MMC in November so I'm scared that I'll lose this little bean too, so I'd like to put my mind at ease asap, so with that said, have any of you lovely ladies had an early scan? And if so did you get what you expected from them? Xx

I had an ultrasound today and same thing, got confirmed no ectopic and saw the yolk sac

I had one at 5 weeks 5 days. Could only see the gestational and yolk sac but got confirmation that it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy.

Are you just trying to rule out eptopic? If so, I'm sure you could talk to your doctor about it. If you just want to put your mind at ease that there's something in there, don't. Early ultrasounds give false security IMO. And no early ultrasound can detect or avoid a miscarriage. I had a miscarriage last year and this time around I specifically wanted to wait until I was beyond 12 weeks for a scan. I had a scan at 8 weeks, went in again at 12 and baby had stopped growing at 10. I would have rather not gotten my hopes up.
