What car seat do you guys have and why? I got a maxi cosi amazingly soft fabric and features side impact protection to which I found out is not standard in all car seats.

I'm getting the Chico Cortina key fit 30. The car seat has great crash test ratings and I really liked the travel system. There are probably fancier ones that would be a little nicer like maybe a carriage with rubber wheels instead of plastic but this set is affordable at $300. I've been sneaky peaks at my registry and someone already purchased it! I'm guessing my aunts went on on it together.

Just purchased these Graco Click Connect 40 Snugride for my Twincesses. I love them. 400$ but so worth it:)

I have the uppababy Mesa. It is an incredible seat, with easy install. It is also very easy to properly use. It has side impact, and unlike a lot of infant seats, it will actually last a child a full 12months. We also have the uppababy vista stroller, and it can click directly onto the frame. Uppababy makes quality products, and backs them.

I have the Chicco keyfit 30. It had good reviews so I requested it on my registry. Now my LO is 6 weeks old and it's pretty easy to use. Snaps in and out of the base without too much work which is great when traveling alone with him. No complaints about it.

Anyone considering the Cybex Aton 2? What are your thoughts? I like how safe and light it is. The plan for now is to get the uppababy Cruz and get an adapter for the car seat
