Had my 39 week check up yesterday and I am 5cm dilated and 90% effaced. Doctor stripped my membranes and told me to come in today to have them stripped again. I'm a little worried that I'm so dilated and not going to make it to the hospital in time. Anyone been this dilated and not admitted? This is my second child and I have to get my son to the sitters if I go into labor or worst case he will just have to come with us until she can get to the hospital to pick him up.
