My mom lives 4 hours away, I'm 37 weeks now and for the last couple of weeks I've been having contractions and even went to l&d one night only to be sent home after a couple hours.. She has taken to calling me 2 or more times a day to see if there are any changes.. I've told her numerous times if something changes she will be called.. I've also told her since I'm group b strep + that I will have to get antibiotics before I can even deliver so that buys her time to get here.. She called as usual this morning, I opted not to answer, she called again, I didn't answer, then she called my husband so I called her back.. Her excuse "I didn't know if you were contracting and couldn't talk" for the love of God woman, if something changes or I'm in labor you will be called!!! She's just stressing me out now, and is mad at me for being annoyed 😤
