So, I'm 17, diabetic, and suffer from the horror that is polycystic ovaries. Both my endocrinologist AND my Gynecologist agree that being on the pill would help me immensely, but I've had absolutely no say in the matter. My mother is very anti birth control pill because of a bad experience she had, and won't even let me voice my own opinion. How do I get her to let me make my own choices? Or rather, how do I even begin this conversation?
