High risk question! Over 35, multiple miscarriages
I've had 3 miscarriages and 1 successful pregnancy and baby. 2 of the miscarriages happened in less than a year in 2015. I'm also almost 36 (next month). I'm currently pregnant again, 5 weeks 2 days. I have spoken with the nurse and have been prescribed progesterone which I've been taking for about a week and a half.
My doctor doesn't typically see you for an appointment until 8-9 weeks and 1st ultrasound at 12.
I made my first appointment for 9 weeks but I'm really anxious for an earlier ultrasound. I haven't spoken with the doctor, only scheduling for the appointment and the nurse for the progesterone.
I feel like I should be seen earlier as I'm technically considered high risk due to my age and miscarriage history.
Anyone have a similar situation? And what is your doctor doing for you?
