Has anyone ever had a false negative before?

Not myself, but my mother was 4 months along with me and the pregnancy tests were never positive. The only way she found out she had me was when she had an ultrasound for stomach pains

I got false negative tests back the first 2 months of my pregnancy! Even the tests at the doctors came back false negative. I never had a blood test done but I'm not sure why this happened!

Yes I was pregnant but hcg test at the doctors said no when in fact I was about 4/5 weeks gone

I've had afew, most happen from testing too early. Can also happen if the test is faulty
