Braxton hicks? Start of labor?

I've had horrible cramping all day. I can't lay down to nap without the pain waking me up. Lower back is killing me I don't think it's anything as far as labor yet..I haven't lost my plug nor has my water broke. I feel like a can't time anything because it's one big cramp..any advice from anyone would help. I'm 39 weeks 1 day.

Your body may be preparing for labor. This last week is rough because the baby can come at anytime now. They say to time your contractions, but with all four of my kids I never had regular contractions.  Some would be a minute apart then the next would be three minutes apart. I just wait until the pain in unbearable and go in to get checked. I wish you the best, and congratulations on your little one!  👣🌸

Your water might not break, but you should call your doctor to see wat she tells you
