Depression/anxiety

Ok so here's the gist. I have had negative thoughts and not been able to get rid of them. I found out what my trigger was and have the support I need. My mom abused me as a kid and she never took responsibility for her actions. Finally we have been able to get together and have a talk. It went a lot different than I thought. She said she doesn't remember ever doing that she thought she was a good mom. So my question is how can I move on and start living a healthy life without any real answers or closure?
