23 weeks and no fundal height measurement?

Question

I just had my last appointment on Monday at 23 weeks and my doc still hasn't measured my fundal height? He just listened to her heartbeat. Should I ask for him to do it? I'm not showing much so I'm thinking that could be the reason.

my midwife always does it but i have heard lots dont .. it isnt always accurate ... my friend in work  was told she was too small and sent for a emergency scan ... the baby was fine and born a week early at 7lbs something .. so i guess sometimes it causes unnecessary stress

They probably won't do it til much later if at all. It's not really accurate and it might just stress you out if they say you're measuring bigger or smaller

I don't know why, but my doctor hasn't done it either. I'm 25 weeks. 
I'm showing a little bit now, gaining weight appropriately and all of my ultrasounds were normal. So perhaps there is no need for it?

I don't think it's very accurate anyway.
