My husband and I couldn't wait any longer than 2 1/2 weeks. I had a very easy, smooth delivery with no tears and bleeding stopped around a week after delivery.

Usually it's 6 weeks. But it all depends on you. How fast you heal and how fast your sex drive comes back. Could be shorter could be longer but 6 weeks is the average. Just make sure you're all healed up.
