my best friend has been broken up with her ex for almost a year and a half now and I started talking to him and now he's my boyfriend...did I fuck up ?

-I knew him WAY before they were together 
-I introduced them
 & now me and her don't talk at all and she is STILL hooked on him? sometimes she follows us around ... am I wrong.???

She's ur best friend. That's girl code. Don't ever go after your BEST FRIENDS ex regardless of who knew him longer. Now if it was just a normal whatever friend then that would be different. But it's wrong to go after someone ur best friend dated

Talk to her. Tell her that you value her as a friend, and you're sorry that she and he didn't work out, but that you two are dating now, and you really hope that she can be okay with that. Then she what she says. If she says she's not okay with it, and makes you choose between her and him, that's a choice you'll have to make.
I get why people say you're breaking "girl code" by dating an ex, but in real life, sometimes people are better for people than other people, regardless of who they dated in the past. But if you want to save the friendship, or at least get her off your back, you need to talk to her.

My best friend did this to me. To start off with I was a bit hurt, then i got over it and realised that I value our friendship far more than I care about a silly little boy. We're still best friends, it didn't work out between her and my ex in the end!

My Bestfriend tried to take the guy I was dating, and I still am 3 years later ❤️, but she flirted with him daily and she texted me one day after I went off on her about texting my boyfriend and she said "fine you can have him" when I already did lol

also, before I even started to talk to him I asked her if she was okay with it. and if she wasn't I would stop. and she said that it was okay, she was over him and she wants me to be happy. after that she encouraged me to go for it. then sfter we actually got together, she stopped talking to me.
