Psychiatrist problems. HELP

So I've been seeing a psychiatrist for about 2 years and I recently had an incident with him and I'm not sure what to think. I'm 18 and me and my boyfriend are moving into a apartment together. Well I told my doctor that I was moving and he proceeded to tell me that it was a bad idea, that on a scale of 1-10 this idea was a 10, he told me to live in a dorm at least, THEN He basically bribed me with medicine he said if I give you something to make you less irritable will you stay home? I had no idea what to do I just sat there and looked at the ground. He was begging me and saying " please don't do this ". He's NEVER been this way I felt like he was trying to parent me. What the hell am I supposed to do? I almost got up and walked out but I needed my prescription. I feel like I can't tell him anything now.
