We had our 12 week ultrasound yesterday and discovered that one of our precious babies had passed. We are absolutely heartbroken, but at the same time so grateful that our surviving baby is healthy and growing. The joy of seeing our baby moving around and waving at us, followed by the devastation of not seeing the other baby was tough. I want to enjoy the happiness but I still ache for my lost sweet angel. We first saw their beautiful heartbeats at 8 weeks and were so overjoyed. I will have an empty space in my heart forever 💔
