If your guy friend was kissing you on the cheek as in trying to be intimate, no I don't think it's cheating but it's inappropriate. It also depends on the circumstance and the culture. My boyfriend is Romanian and they greet friends and family with kisses on both cheeks.

I think it depends on the meaning and intentions of your guy friend and your boyfriends opinion, if it bothers him and he is already a jealous or protective type he might take it the wrong way. If you and your guy friend are both clear on where you stand and if he makes moves like kissing you on the cheek knowing you both are just friends and don't want anymore than I don't see the problem as long as you don't let it go further than kissing on the cheek. I know personally if my boyfriend had a close female friend and she started doing things like that I would probably get jealous but I guess it's up to the indivual and talk to everyone and know where they stand, if everyone's cool with it then it doesn't really matter what other people think xxx
