Sad day ?

Question

Ended my period on September 23rd...was really really hoping for a positive today )-: anybody know if I'm able to conceive with irregular periods? Does anybody else have irregular cycles and irregular ovulation times on here I can speak with? Would help me out alot.

I'm sorry. Yes I had pretty irregular periods and I have conceived twice. (The first was a miscarriage). I would use OPK's so I knew when my period would come (14 days later) but we BD every other day once my period ended. As soon as I got a positive OPK, we would try 2 more days in a row. Good luck!

I'm extremely irregular too & was curious if having an irregular cycle or hardly any cycle at all affects conceiving.

I have irregular cycles. I stopped BCP April 23rd, got pregnant June 3rd after ovulating cd31. It ended in a MC but as my dr says at least I know I can get pregnant so that's a good thing. We waited one cycle to start TTC again, last cycle I ovulated on cd13, got my period 13 days later, and now I'm just tracking ovulation using OPKS and BBT and I think I may ovulate on cd13/14 which is tues/wed just by how the lines on my OPKS are looking. I'm not sure though because I've always had irregular cycles where they were long and painful and bleeding was so heavy and bad it cause anemia so I was put on BCP to control it. Your best bet I've found which gives me some piece of mind and I need control too is BBT and OPKS.

You're not out til.af shows.  Those digital ones take more HCG to register positive so it's possibly too soon.

If the last day of your period was 9/23 then it's still too early to be testing, you can't even be much more than a week past your fertile window and ovulation then.  Count your cycles with Day 1 as the first day of your period and then ovulation should happen around day 14 depending how long your cycle is, take ovulation tests daily starting around day 10 to get a really clear picture of when this happens for you or monitor your BBT. You can't really rely on a test to be accurate until a day or so after you've missed your period.
