So I was on prednisone for about a week and I started lightly spotting enough to fill a liner but not a pad. So I simply thought I got my period 5 days early. This isn't weird for me since I have PCOS and I can be anywhere from days early to 2 weeks late. My issue came today (day 2) where I'm lighter then yesterday and usually this is my heaviest day. im not a heavy bleeder either but usually i can at least fill a pad on my first or second day. I read online that many women experienced missed of heavy periods when they took this medication even short term because it can cause a hormone imbalance. Have any of you ladies experienced this?
