I recommend every woman try a menstrual cup of some kind at least once. They're a great alternative to pads and tampons. I have difficulty with the diva cup but I love instead soft cups. They're not as environmentally friendly (their versions of reusables are only during the course of one cycle, then they need to be disposed of, their regular disposable kind are one time use only) but they can be worn for 12 hours at a time and carry no risk of TSS or yeast infections like tampons. You can also wear them during sex (NOT AS BC but for mess free sex on your period).

I have a mooncup, there are other brands out there than diva cup! I absolutely adore it! Would never go back to disposable products!

I had one for two years! At first a little cumbersome and potentially a little messy, but that's just because you need to get the right rhythm and is something new! So, don't get discouraged! Once I got the hang of it, it was so wonderful, I never had to worry about leaking. I was in undergrad at the time, so I could go through a whole day of classes and not have to worry. I also saved quite a bit of money, so that was cool. Anyways, I highly recommend. If you get one and have any questions, feel free to ask!
