So, my husband and I are wanting to try and get pregnant. I decided to try the clear blue digital ovulation tests. I started testing on January 13th with a negative result. On the 14th I got a flashing smiley face (high fertility according to the instructions). My concern is that I have been getting high fertility readings for 9 days straight. I never got a peak reading. I ran out of the clear blue tests so I thought I would try a different test just to see if maybe I was getting a false positive from the clear blue. This morning (January 23rd) I tried the first response fertility tests and the test line was the same color as the reference line. Another positive reading. I consulted my doctor about all of this and she pretty much said that the tests aren't accurate and I'm not actually ovulating. I'm so confused now. I had my period the 3rd thru the 8th of January and my cycles are about 34 days long. I tried a pregnancy test just to see (9 days of positive ovulation tests is weird to me) but it was negative.
