I just got engaged last week and was talking to my mom about how I hope we get married and start having babies ASAP because we want a large family... well my mom turns around and informs me that I took her SEVEN YEARS of trying before she got pregnant with my sister, then another FIVE YEARS after her to have me. So I talked to my fiancé and stopped taking my birth control THAT NIGHT. I am now TERRIFIED that because it took so long for my mom, it will take a long time for me too.
