My mom and I are cool with each other But it's not like we talk to each other every single day, maybeeeee once a week... As soon as I told her I am pregnant, she's all over me. Calling me everyday and texting me trying to make plans even after I told her I am busy (or I'm just pregnant and not feeling like doing anything). I understand that it's exciting to be a grandma, I get it. But at the same time I can't help but get annoyed. You didn't bother texting me before I got pregnant, but NOW I'm your number 1 priority? Where was that when I was just your daughter not carrying your grandson?

A little back story, my mom is also a working alcoholic and has an extremely terrible memory. So she asks the same thing multiple times and seems like she can't remember anything I ever tell her.

I feel like I should try to be a little bit nicer but I'm seriously so annoyed!!!!!! I've even told her that she needs to chill And let me be me. She tells me she understands. Then the next day it's right back to where we started.
