Pregnant or nah

Ok so maybe someone can answer my question on here but I've took two pregnancy tests both negative no fainting lines or anything and my period is 8 days late. Is this normal or am I just freaking out? I know I have to go to a doctor if it doesn't come by my next period but I just want some else's advice or opinion.
