Convertible Car Seats--have you used any of these???

Question

So, I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about car seats of all things! Can any of you help me out with your own experiences? This is Baby #2, and I know we will go the Convertible route. My 2yr old has a Recaro which I LOVED, but I just read really unsettling things from Consumer Reports about its use FF. So now I'm thinking about--
Evenflo Sureride 
Graco Size4Me 
Graco Baby Extend2Fit 
Graco 4ever 
Maxi Cosi Pria w/ tiny fit
Diono Radian RXT

We have the Diono Radian XT...LOVE IT!!!!  we have a Ford Expedition el, that is completely full of kiddos (once the twins are born we are going to have to take 2 cars everywhere)...it's so much thinner than the others and we'll easily be able to fit 3 across if necessary...although we won't have to set them up that way for a while.  Aside from our 8 month old, Our other kiddos range from 7-16, and they still have plenty of space and don't look or feel crowded.

We bought the Graco 4ever to use from birth. It even fits our MINI Cooper!

Thanks for posting this! I've also been researching convertible car seats, and the one that is at the top of my list right now is the MaxiCosi.
On of my main concerns is the size of the car seat and being able to fit it in my car  (Toyota Corolla 2010) I've seen kids with practically no leg room because the car seat is so big. 
I will definitely will look up some of the car seats on your list. Thank you again!

I would absolutely go with the Graco 4ever if you are using from birth. Yes, diono makes a great seat (diono and the 4ever are the only two out of your list I would consider from birth) they are hard to install properly, and are really hard to use, especially tighten the straps, when the baby is tiny.

The 4ever truly fits newborns well, and will actually last a full 10 years! I can't say enough good things about the 4ever. It also has a steel frame as well! We have one and love it.
