Zika virus - travel?

We have an upcoming trip to Cancun Mexico on Feb 8th and with the Zika virus going around, we're debating if we should cancel our trip. My cousin is about 5months along and I'm ttc.

Right now there haven't been many or any cases around cancun but it's probably something not to risk - what would you do?

Cancel. CDC is saying pregnant women should absolutely avoid these areas unless it's just completely unavoidable.

I'm going to guatemala next week. It's on the list. But I'm just bringing repellents with me. We go every year, my husband is from there. We were actually talking to our friend that's there yesterday and he said in guatemala it's not even spreading. They haven't talked about it in months over there, but it's on the list because they had confirmed cases back in November in a town far away from where we are. I did a lot of research to see the areas where it was confirmed, and how many cases were confirmed and all that, and I don't think it's that major as of now. It's on the level 2 warning from cdc, which means you can travel there but with precaution.

Look into how many cases have been found in cancun, and if anything just bring protection with you. Plus it's on the beach and in as resort, so as long as you don't venture into the jungles and stuff you should be fine. South America has it worse then central America and mexico.
