hi girls I started taking the pill at the beginning of my last period and haven't really stopped bleeding since, even though I've almost finished the packet so it's definitely been a month. Do you think it's just my body adjusting to the hormones. I just want it to stop omg haha

I had to change my birth control 2-3 times before I found one that gave me a once a month period that lasted only a week so go to your doctor and ask them to switch it.

Hiiiiii ! I totally feel you! When I started taking the pill I had light bleeding after my period up until about a week before I had my 7 day break, definitely just your body adjusting! Freaked me out but it'll go!

When I talked to my doctor and asked about the pill he said that when going onto any birth control there's a possibility of excessive bleeding for up to 3 months. If you're really worried about it though it's always safe to have the reassurance from a professional!

Did you have any problems with prolonged periods before you started the pill? When I first started I had the same problem, period for the 3 weeks then no period for the "placebo" pills, but I had similar problems prior to the pill. It could be you adjusting or you might need to try a different dose or brand/method of birth control. I would definitely call your doctor/obgyn and make an appointment to ask about it. Can never be too safe😊 best of luck!

Yeah if it doesn't straighten itself out and become regular again after a few weeks I wouldn't definitely go back to see your doctor!

for a full month. I definitely don't think it's normal. You should go to the doctor's.
