did plan b work?

I took plan b within 24 hours of having unprotected sex. as far as I know he pulled out in time but I took it just in case. I got a period a week later (2 weeks before when my period was supposed to be). does that mean it worked? I'm supposed to get another period in a week but I know a lot of people have said it can delay it or overall really screw it up. but I was wondering if the early bleeding/period was a sign it had worked or not.
