Nursery organization?!

Question

We have an older home (built in the early 40's) so we have such small closets! I'm a really organized person on a normal basis, but I'm so not even sure how to make the space work! How do you mommas have your closets and drawers organized?! What are you keeping in the dresser versus the closet? I think I'm going to hang most of her clothes, but I'm not sure how to keep everything organized!

I have been wondering the same thing for the past two weeks. Even though our condo is fairly new and the closet in baby room is a walk-in, it's weirdly cut and also narrow. I only have one wall to work with in there. MAYBE a part of one of the sides, depending. I happened upon an awesome blog last night showing how this woman organized her nursery drawers and closet. I'm taking a lot of her advice. Already bought the drawer organizers she recommended off amazon last night. Will be getting the ikea shelf she has in her closet in pic below, but not 8 shelves, just four.

I'll hang this over the door organizer on closet door.

I'll hang one of these in the closet for shelves for clothes/blankets/bulky things.

And going to get this from The Container Storeto put in the closet if I can make it fit. Need to measure everything again today.

Our nursery has just a small closet and some of the space we are using for our stuff. I plan to do a lot of folding and only to hang her dresses.

I didnt buy a dresser..  We made rearrangements in the closet.. I have 4 drawers I can use here for folding clothing.  The first few months there will be most likely more folding than hanging .. Lots of onsies and body suits. 
Hanging spaces and I plan to out storage caddies from IKEA at the bottom for extra storage space.

I live in a house from that era too. We dedicated one closet to him and are hanging an additional tension rod to make for a second row of clothes.

Our house was built in 1893, lol, no built in wardrobes. We have a freestanding wardrobe but have put most of the baby's stuff in a chest of drawers or on shelving units :)

Lucky you all are with closets! We are making due with a changing table with drawers!
