Abortion horror

Here's my story.

My partner and I were together for 6 years before breaking up for a year. We never got pregnant.

We both saw other people within that year and both got pregnant.

Long story short, I had an abortion and his girlfriend a miscarriage.

We got back together but still can't seem to get pregnant. Obviously we both can get pregnant and impregnate.

So I'm sat here wondering if being "not compatible with each other" is a thing.

Now we both want babies, it's not happening.

Do you think that could be a thing? Or is it coz we want it so badly? Did my abortion damage me is the question that haunts continuously
