So I'm on the Depo shot as birth control and I've been on it since November. When I got it I did research on it and my doctor gave me some information. All the information says the shot can cause short or no periods. But my periods are pretty irregular and sometimes super long, off and on (I'm on my 16th day) and I'm wondering if I should change birth controls or if I'm fine. Has anyone else experienced irregular periods on the shot and is that normal? My next shot should be soon and I'm wondering if I should change birth controls.
